Partners - Tricia Walker

Tricia is a partner within our Employment Law Division.
During her legal career Tricia has practiced almost exclusively within the field of employment law and she has experience in advising on all aspects of law within that area. She has an approachable manner and prides herself on providing clients with not only legal advice but also practical and proactive solutions, with a view to resolving and identifying problems at an early stage. That said, Tricia is no stranger to big litigation. She forms an integral part of the legal team defending the much publicised WTR offshore holiday claims.
Tricia has a varied caseload ranging from hands on Employment Tribunal appearance work, providing training to clients and speaking at conferences, drafting and reviewing contractual documentation, advising and assisting in handling dismissals/redundancies etc. Her particular areas of special interest however include: -

Tricia’s practice is predominately focussed in Scotland but she has also appeared in Tribunals in Newcastle, Birmingham, Southampton and London, in cases which include claims relating to complex whistleblowing claims, victimisation, disability discrimination, breach of contract and unfair dismissal. Her clients have been based both north and south of the border and she has an enviable success rate. She has represented Respondent clients from a variety of different fields, including Manufacturing, Education, Marine and Offshore sectors to name a few.
