Scott is a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Banking Groups.
Scott’s practice focuses on corporate transactions and projects. His experience extends to acting for both principal corporations and their stakeholders including shareholders, management and venture capital institutions. Scott acts as principal legal advisor in both UK and international merger, acquisition and joint venture transactions.
Scott is a member of the firm’s Banking Group and in that capacity acts for borrowers as well as UK and overseas banks seeking to provide finance to UK companies either directly or as part of group facilities and provides legal opinions to banks and their advisors in support of such transactions.
Scott’s practice means he regularly works closely with lawyers and other professionals in different jurisdictions co-ordinating and managing the legal aspects of cross-border transactions.
