Richard is head of our Commercial Property Division and deals with a wide range of commercial property work. His main focus is with property development work for residential and commercial developments. He features in the Chambers UK - A Client`s Guide to the Legal Profession as a leader in his field. Richard acts for a range of developers and funders in relation to development work. His main areas of expertise are:-

acquisitions for developers, lettings and sale of investments;

acquisitions for housebuilders, both national and local;

general acquisitions and disposals of commercial and investment property;

realisation of development land for a wide range of land owners.
Richard has advised a number of our existing clients on property matters including Stewart Milne Group, Bank of Scotland, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Petrofac, Malmaison, Hotel du Vin, Duke of Fife and Stewart Milne Developments.
Other Roles
Richard represents the firm in its membership of TAGLaw and is actively involved in the promotion of TAG Property.
