Leading Scottish commercial law firm, Paull & Williamsons, has appointed Chris Arnold as a consultant specialising in construction law. 

Chris brings a wealth of experience having worked initially in London and Leeds, and more recently as a partner in a major Scottish practice. He will focus on building and engineering projects, putting in place the contract structures and trouble-shooting any problems that arise.

Chris said: “I am delighted to be joining a firm with the client list and reputation of Paull & Williamsons. As the property and lending markets become increasingly tighter, it is more important than ever to focus on contractual arrangements and to ensure that in the worst case all parties, whether they be employer, contractor, sub-contractor, consultant, lender, purchaser or tenant, have appropriate rights of re-course.”

Chris is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Construction Law. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and also a practising adjudicator.
