Recent Developments in TUPE

We will be hosting a free TUPE update seminar at our Union Plaza offices on 23rd, 24th, 25th March and 27th April 2010.  The first three seminars are fully booked but there are a limited number of places available at the seminar on 27th April.  The seminar will look at recent developments in relation to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and will aim to offer practical guidance to employers.  Topics to be covered will include:

- the latest guidance on when the TUPE Regulations apply

- who is assigned to the transferring undertaking?

- harmonisation and changes to working conditions

- the risk of a `material detriment` dismissal

- the duty to inform and consult - what do employers need to do to comply with their obligations?

Date:         Places available for 27th April only.

Time:         Registration from 12 noon.  Seminar from 12.30-2pm

Location:   Paull & Williamsons offices, Union Plaza, Aberdeen

A light lunch and refreshments will also be served.
