Recent Developments in TUPE

We will be hosting a free TUPE update seminar at our Union Plaza offices on 23rd, 24th and 25th March 2010.  The seminars on 23rd and 24th March are now fully subscribed but there are still a few places available at the additional seminar which has been arranged on 25th March.  The seminar will look at recent developments in relation to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and will aim to offer practical guidance to employers.  Topics to be covered will include:

- the latest guidance on when the TUPE Regulations apply

- who is assigned to the transferring undertaking?

- harmonisation and changes to working conditions

- the risk of a `material detriment` dismissal

- the duty to inform and consult - what do employers need to do to comply with their obligations?

Date:         Places available for 25th March only.

Time:         Registration from 12 noon.  Seminar from 12.30-2pm

Location:   Paull & Williamsons offices, Union Plaza, Aberdeen

A light lunch and refreshments will also be served.
